Select "File", then "Print". Below the "Settings" section, click the "Slides" drop-down menu. There is a "Handouts 3 slides per page " option that will add space for notes to the right of each slide.
If the version of PowerPoint installed on your computer does not support the option above, you can also use Word to create handouts with multiple slides and notes per page. Figure 2. Print PowerPoint with comments Assuming you have comments in your presentation, you can pint those in any of the PowerPoint Handout or Outline views. To print your PowerPoint slides with comments:. Print PowerPoint with lines for notes There are two different ways to print your slides as Handouts with lines for notes: The easy way: This involves directly printing your slides from PowerPoint with the default lines that PowerPoint gives you for taking notes.
Choose a print layout: Under Settings , click the second rectangle's down arrow. The thumbnail images you see show a preview of how the pages will look when printed. To print slide notes, either for a speaker or as handouts for your audience, select Notes Pages under Print Layout.
This option prints one slide per page with all your notes below. Choose how to organize your printed sheets: Under Settings , select the down arrow next to Collated or Uncollated and then choose your preference.
Choose a color scheme for your printout: Under Settings , click the last rectangle's down arrow, and then select an option. In grayscale, objects such as charts and tables appear crisper and cleaner than if you choose the Color option on a non-color printer. This option prints slides in black and white.
There are no shades of gray. As a result, some objects in the design theme of the slide, such as embossing and drop shadows, won't print. Text prints as black even if you chose gray as the original color of the text. Under Settings , if your printer is able, two other options will appear—one-sided versus two-sided printing, and stapled versus unstapled sets of printouts.
