No, it was never a completed neighborhood. This looks like the right place to ask questions. So glad I found it! I have the sims2 discs, all of them. I have both double deluxe and the Holiday edition which include some of the packs in them. My question is, how do I install both of these editions for the same game? Is there a way to install just the additional items needed and not the whole thing?
At the risk of being confusing happens to me a lot! Can I install double deluxe, all the rest of the expansions, and in the correct order just extract what is needed off of the Holiday edition? My goal is to have a complete collection.
Thank you in advance! Hey Cindy! While it is not a groundbreaking feature now at the time this was a really big deal. While it has been surpassed why what would follow on from it. At the time The Sims 2 was a game that improved on its predecessor and all of its expansion packs in pretty much every way you could imagine.
There is a ton of stuff you can use in this game to make your dream home, new scenarios, jobs, neighborhoods and there is just a ton of stuff to keep your Sims and the others that are around busy. The visuals of the game are much improved from the first game. The only negative that I really have about the visuals is that sometimes the children and grandchildren can just look the same. I do feel they could have done a bit more to make offspring look like they are related, but not at the expense of just all looking exactly the same.
The soundtrack is what you would expect from a game in this series. I would not say that The Sims 2 has the greatest soundtrack I have ever listened too. However, they have made it very easy to add your own music to the game if you want so that is always an option.
The overall sound effects of the game are great and when a Sim talks, freaks out, gets embarrassed, or anything like that it always makes me smile. As this is a game that I played a great deal during my college years with a girl that would become my wife.
