Both the employers and employees are wonderful people who are great to both work for and with. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Phonathon. I have worked as a caller, captain, and supervisor, and found each role increasingly fulfilling and incredibly helpful for my personal and professional development. My experience with Wheaton is largely as a student, but my work there as a Teaching Assistant was one of my favorite jobs.
Wheaton students are the best and it's a joy to work with them and form relationships with them in a work setting. The hardest part of the job was the focus on process rather than results. From a marketing perspective, it is standard practice to use KPI metrics to measure campaign success.
Our leadership just wanted to execute their old standard ways of doing things - such as emailing churches - rather than modern marketing through social and digital channels. Even when presented with real results, the leadership still reverted to their old antiquated approaches to marketing. Great liberal arts education, caring president, lots of kind people. Professors offer one-on-one attention, and career services office is very helpful.

I've been associated with Wheaton College as a student and an employee. Student quality is outstanding. There has been changes in the management during the time that I have worked here, but all of them expect excellence and are great organizers. One of the hardest parts of the job, which goes hand in hand with what I have learned from it, is that often times are role within the function of sports itself is overlooked. Someday, I hope to be a part of a workplace culture that notices and appreciates every role of a business. Christian centered with a hard focus on studies. Culture is diverse.

You don't learn much from a desk attendant job, but it's a nice way to earn a little bit of extra money in a relaxed atmosphere. You can often do homework while on the job assuming none of your friends walk in and decide they feel like talking for a few hours , and it's rare for something to happen where you have to intervene.
