Both faculty and staff can benefit from the variety of international events and speakers that OIP and its partners bring to campus.

Learn more about these faculty and staff resources. A wide variety of international programming is available throughout the year to all members of the campus community and the Charlotte region. Attend lectures by distinguished international speakers and speakers on international topics through our Great Decisions and International Speaker Series programs.

Most students go abroad in their junior year, usually for a single semester, although full-year, summer and holiday study tours may also be available. There are study abroad programs taught in English, total immersion programs taught in the native language, or combinations of the two. Loyola has developed study abroad opportunities to accommodate all majors, but you should begin planning for your international study experience as soon as possible, especially if you plan to major in business, math, or science.

Loyola continues to monitor the COVID coronavirus situation very closely with the recommendations of the Department of State , the Centers for Disease Control , the World Health Organization , and the advice and information we receive from our colleagues and host universities abroad.

The University is in touch with students studying abroad and their families to ensure they have the most updated information. In particular, the office promotes and supports initiatives that encourage academic outreach and service, influence curricular internationalization, and strengthen the global reputation of the University. AUC's International Programs and Services Office provides opportunities for current AUC students who wish to study abroad, either through an exchange program with one of our many global partners or on their own.

Study abroad experiences provide students with opportunities to receive academic credit toward their degree at AUC while studying at another approved institution. The International Programs and Services Office also works with international students from outside Egypt who wish to spend a semester or year at AUC as non-degree students.
